On Sunday morning (October 8, 2006), Jesse was in a serious car accident and was brain dead when he arrived at the hospital. Since then, he has been recovering remarkably in answer to our prayers. Here we'll keep you posted on the latest updates.

Hey Jesse, great to see that you're out of California hospitals and back with your family in Idaho. I was convinced that you wouldn't recover nearly as much as you have, and I am thrilled to see that I was proved wrong. When I pulled up to the scene and saw the inital accident before anyone had really gotten to you, I really didn't have much hope at all. Obviously someone is watching out for you. I showed my partner Joey this webpage, and he wrote it down so that he can keep watching your progress too. We're both cheering you on out here in Ridgecrest, CA, and will continue to check this page regularly.
